Spring II

Nothing more beautiful
When a day just arrives
When the world is still sleeping
People dreaming about their lives
That first few hours
The sun tickles you awake
You feel the hunger to go outside
Maybe picknick by the lake

Difficult decisions first
Breakfast: at the table or in bed?
Sunday morning consideration
Eggs: with bacon? Nice and fat
The sound of Three Little Birds through the window
The sky full of no expectations today
Reading a book, maybe a magazine
Or just you lying in the sun, all is okay

The sun rises higher, as it gets warmer
At the lake with a Corona in your hand
Some good food, friends by your side
Sunglasses on, feet in the sand

Later that evening when the sun goes to sleep
You can see a million stars
Heat of a fire, music in the air
The moment you forget about all your scars
Today your heart is quiet
And since a long time satisfied
Now go on and be careful
Everything is gonna be allright
